　　We offer a wide range of undergraduate scholarships to suit different needs, situations and study interests. We have scholarships available in Semester One and Semester Two of each year.

　　The University of Canberra is offering a merit-based scholarship to international students who successfully complete their Bachelor Degree at the University of Canberra in semester 2 2016 or any subsequent semester in 2017 and 2018.

　　Eligibility requirements:

　　(1)Be an international student who is eligible to graduate from a University of Canberra Bachelor’s degree at the end of semester 2 2016 or any subsequent semester in 2017 and 2018.

　　(2)Be in the last semester of your Bachelor degree at the University of Canberra and be achieving a GPA of 4.0 or above; or have completed your Bachelor degree with a minimum GPA of 4.0 or above.

　　(3)Have an offer of admission to a Master degree by coursework at the University of Canberra for 2017-2019 (for 2019, up to semester 1 only). The commencement of the Master degree must be immediately after finishing the Bachelor degree, without any study gaps.

　　Recipients Conditions:

　　(1)The scholarship must be commenced in the semester it is awarded; deferment of the scholarship offer is not available.

　　(2)The scholarship is not transferable across courses and only applies to the offer for which the scholarship is awarded.

　　(3)Students must maintain their enrollment as a full time student during the period for which the scholarship is awarded.

　　(4)The scholarship will be applied following the census date of the semester that the student has commenced their study at UC within 2017-2019 (for 2019, up to semester 1 only) as applicable.

　　How to Apply

　　No application is required for the scholarship. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered and have the scholarship applied to their account. Applicants who meet the scholarship conditions will receive notification of their eligibility for the scholarship separately.

　　Applicants need to follow the acceptance instructions, including deposit requirement, indicated in their offer of admission. The scholarship will be credited to the students’ account after commencement of their Master degree.

　　(1)Be an Australian citizen, Permanent Resident or International Student;

　　(2)Have accepted their offer or conditional offer into one of the following degrees commencing 2017:

　　Bachelor of Engineering in Network & Software Engineering (Honours)

　　Bachelor of Information Technology

　　Bachelor of Software Engineering

　　A double degree comprising any of the above

　　Master of Information Technology

　　Master of Information Technology and Systems

　　Master of Engineering

　　(3)Applicants must provide a 500 word statement outlining their achievements in the ICT field and how they plan to apply their skills to the industry within the Canberra region

　　(4)Applicants will be ineligible for this scholarship if they have already received a scholarship or grant for their studies at UC;

　　(5)Applicants must have accepted their offer at UC only;

　　(6)Applicants must agree to their information being made known to the scholarship sponsors for the purposes of the scholarship and its promotion;

　　This is targeted towards current international student school leavers who achieve a ‘raw’ ATAR of 95+ and who have accepted an offer of a place in their first undergraduate degree at the University of Canberra. A current school leaver, in this instance, is someone who has completed an Australian Year 12, the International Baccalaureate, or the New Zealand NCEA Level 3 in the year prior to UC study. Application for admission will normally be made through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC).

　　The University of Canberra is offering merit-based scholarships to international students who are applying for admission to UC Bachelor courses in the area of Sports and Exercise Science for semester 2 2017 and 2018.

　　Number of Scholarships: Dependent on annual funding

　　Have an ATAR equivalent rank of 75 from their previous qualifications.

Selected applicants will receive a separate letter of offer for the scholarship. Applicants must accept the scholarship at the same time as accepting their offer to the University.

　　The University of Canberra Undergraduate Scholarship (UCUS) are for current school leavers who achieve a "raw" ATAR of 99+ and who have accepted an offer of a place in their first undergraduate degree at the University of Canberra.

　　A current school leaver, in this instance, is someone who has completed year 12 in the year prior to UC study.

　　(5)The maximum duration of each scholarship is based on the duration of the course in which the student is enrolled or has applied into at the time of offer

　　(6)Students may undertake UC international exchange programs and still be eligible for the Scholarship;

　　(7)In the event that a recipient changes course, any EFTSL that has been accumulated in the original course will be deducted from the maximum EFTSL available.
